- The Resurrection Of Rock And Roll -
A few years back Forewarned founder and creative force behind the band was diagnosed with a life threating medical condition. Both during his treatment and recovery he sought solace in his music the result being Forewarned's ambitious double album The Resurrection Of Rock And Rock. The band delves into a 70's classic rock sound that not many bands are making today with lots of synths, big guitars, big choruses and songs of epic length. The band, Steve Supparits - Vocals/Guitars, Lynn Carol Schriver (she of music royalty Ramblin' Lou Family)- Keyboards/Vocals, ... get some help in the studio from Kenny Hawkins, George Puelo, Jerry Livingston, Jim Wynne and a host of others.
The album, a mix of soaring rockers and metal style ballads, starts with a spoken word disclaimer stating that no Auto tune, samples, beats, loops, arpeggiators etc. were used on the album and that all parts were played live.Highlights among the twenty two tracks include the rock orientated "K.M.A.", "On The Road Alone", the instrumental "Demonic Rise" and the lengthy opus "Hero" and its nearly as long counter parts "No Tomorrow" and "March 1st". Standouts among the ballads include "Unsure", "Angel" and "How Will I Know". In a nod to their classic rocks roots they also tackle Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell" with success.

Wow, I am very impressed with this album by Forewarned! The Resurrection of Rock and Roll is surely going to become a future classic. The CD features a combination of original rock songs, classical rock and rock ballads. All of the songs have been written by the individual band members. The songs are powerful and melodical, which makes the listener appreciate the original sounds, rhythmic composition and keyboard notes as much as the background guitars and drums. Songs such as Angel, No Tomorrow, How Will I Know and the other 21 original songs are all excellent lyrical compositions which makes the listening intense, worthwhile and enjoyable. The CD also includes only one cover song by Meatloaf, “Bat Out of Hell”. Overall, I personally rate this album The Resurrection of Rock and Roll by Forewarned. a 9.5/10. Gina Cianfarani, CP

…you are an Amazing band.
I started to listen to your samples and I was becoming more and more impressed as the tracks went on. I was thinking to myself “My God, these guys are astonishing musicians – all of them”. Even my wife, entering the living room said “Hey! I like those”. Usually she doesn’t like much of the heavy stuff I also hear.
Anyway, while I was getting into your world through the music, I was reading about you …But, as was reading this, your music kept on playing, and I kept on enjoying more, and more, and more of you. Of your ART. I was thinking that your technique, the mastery with which you domain the instruments, of the feeling and the soul you put in your songs, all of that, is something that everyone who likes music would savour beyond a doubt. And besides, you have a girl who also sings, and that is a thing that only enriches your band as a whole. The smoothness of her voice reaches into one’s soul and stands there, caressing it, calming it, and perhaps making one forget one just had a bad day. Sometimes she reminded me of the Wilson’s sisters from «Heart».
I just whish you guys the best luck in the world (and you do really deserve it).
